What is the most important thing you have learned during field work?

I think that the most important thing I learned while doing field work is, that kids want to learn.  So many times kids put off that they hate school and dont want to be there but they really do.  If they are willing to come to shool and want to learn, we as techers should return that love and respect to them and teach them.  It is something so simple but I think that some people forget that important factor.

We have to get the kids excited to learn new things and show them that learning is fun and will help them in their lives.  We need to give them the love and devotion that school and learning deserves.  We must have compassion, love, kindness and happiness in our classroom and exhibt these characteristics so that the students will feed off of our attitude.

As teachers, we have to have that undying love for education and give our students the best possible education we can.
